Traditional Chinese Medicine Research Center
Combining CMU’s research foundation in acupuncture, Chinese medicine, and the experience in clinical treatment, the Traditional Chinese Medicine Research Center aims to utilize the excellent research capability of CMU and cooperate with multidisciplinary foundation, thus to develop a new or auxiliary medical care for diseases that are difficult to cure.
Drug Development Center
The Drug Development Center’s research capacity is based on CMU’s molecular biology research, and integrates research on new drug and cell therapy by Graduate Institute of Biomedical Science, Institute of New Drug Development, Research Center for Tumor Medical Science, and Research Center for Stem Cell. The main goal of Drug Development Center is to explore the molecular mechanisms and the pathways of the diseases, and to identify the therapeutic target for developing drugs.
Center for Drug Addiction and Mental Health
Drug addiction and mental health is a health issue that aroused great attention nowadays. However, the advancing of treatments for addiction and psychiatric diseases are still limited, there is an urgent need for continuous efforts. The Center for Drug Addiction and Mental Health promotes and integrates education, medical care, social safety network, clinical researches; cultivates medical talents, and fulfills university’s social responsibilities.
